TL:DR - I am pleased with my purchase, and just wish some of the design choices were different. I would recommend this fridge to others if their priorities are the same as mine given the market and warranty that Anker offers. But would heavily encourage making sure the fridge will fit where you want it - gimmicks and all.

Honestly, I have been pleasantly surprised with this fridge/freezer. It was important when I was researching what to purchase that whatever fridge I bought had a battery to run off of, could run both fridge and freezer independently and not just cool the fridge area off the freezer area's run off, and that it was spacious enough to actually store everything I needed.

This fridge does meet those needs! The battery has been incredibly efficient (given I cool everything in the fridge the night before leaving so it just needs to maintain the temp). I love that each side has drain ports, that I can expand the batteries if I want. I LOVE that this came WITH a battery! So many options online sell for this price point without a battery.

The fridge is strong and rugged. I have sat on it, packed on it and have no concerns about it breaking.

I don't know how well the fans actually work in the lids. It limits having a feature to open the fridge from either side which is a nice add for some people but wasn't critical for me. But the fans add to the sound of the fridge. It is quiet, but not near silent. I can hear it run or turn on across the room while playing music over a speaker. You COULD sleep with it in your car or rig or room, but it may get annoying if you get startled by off an on sounds like that throughout the night. But for me I sleep away from the fridge so it works fine.

Now here is where I struggle with this fridge - the gimmicks. I already mentioned the fans, I am sure they DO something, so not a huge complaint from me in that. It is the other things that bug me.

The fridge is just awkward! Its shape is like a rhombic dodecahedron where the bottom is larger than the top and it slopes up towards the top. The French cleat-esque utility hook is more of an inconvenience than a feature. I haven't found out if you can remove it or not, but it is a solid cleat that sticks out. So it isn't stowable or hide-able at all and makes the shape even worse. Without the cleat, this would fit perfectly in my 40% seat spot in my car, but the cleat rubs against the 60% so I have to either indent the leather of my seat and risk ripping it, or figure out different options. I am sure if they come out with more tools to mount on it that are useful to others it may be a cool gimmick. But I can already cut food and place things anywhere else that I don't need to purchase a separate table to mount on that. I don't fish much if at all so there isn't great utility there for me either. I haven't tried the other two items in the road trip kit, which probably points to - I don't have a use for those things. So if you ACTIVELY find yourself wishing or wanting those options on a fridge, then I guess it makes sense? But the cleat itself is not a selling point for me.

I don't know how to feel about the other handle that protrudes out. I almost wish they just made the fridge square and built both handles into the fridge like they did with the handle above the batteries.

It isn't too heavy all things considered - lighter than I was expecting.

Having app control for both bluetooth and wifi is a luxury that I really appreciate! I was able to turn the freezer section of the fridge off 45 miles away from the fridge, because it was connected to wifi. And having bluetooth to check the battery, temp, etc. is great for when the fridge is packed away out of sight or reach.

There was a warning that says this fridge is not designed or meant for constant use (like a regular home fridge). So that may be a point of consideration for you in purchasing this.

Ultimately, I am pleased with my purchase, and just wish some of the design choices were different. But perhaps that will have to wait for the EverFrost 3. I would recommend this fridge to others if their priorities are the same as mine given the market and warranty that Anker offers. A cooler with dual compartments is to small per compartments and not ideal as a cooler. Plus advertising is misleading on the battery provided and ad, and compartments being small

The Anker Solix EverFrost 2 arrived quickly and was easy to set up right out of the box. The user interface is clean and intuitive, and the design shows great attention to detail. I really appreciate the large storage compartments. After multiple issues with the EcoFlow Glacier, switching to the EverFrost 2 has been a huge relief—much happier with this purchase.

Wish it would have came with two batteries one batteries it’s lasting long with me

This thing is great. So many ways to power. It gets cold fast!
