Amazing
Going to work great with solar, windmill, generator and grid charging. Run my house at night as to not wake up all the neighbors.
Built really well. Easy to install. I have already added extended batteries. I live in Florida and will come in handy when we lose power which is several times per year.
This is my first home battery. I live in Florida, so the main reason for the purchase was for temporary power during an emergency. But I did want to use it in the meantime. I am happy with this battery. It is very easy to use. But the manual did not help. I was able to make it work because what I have learned doing research for the product. Better instructions are necessary.
It came with the 400W portable panels. The highest input so far has been 305W. That was only once. Generally it charges at around 240W. I can add 25% to the battery in a day using these panel. I am surprised by the amount of adjustments I need to make in a day to keep it aligned with the sun. Maybe this is because I live in south Florida? But I change the direction more than 180 degrees each day And the angle from nearly upright in the morning to almost flat and then back upright by the end of the day. The kick stands and straps work great for this. I built a cart to more the panels around and it works well.
I did charge my Tesla Model Y once with this, so I know it works. But I was only able to add 15 miles to the car battery with the Anker nearly 100% full. So not worth the effort.
I do use the battery to charge my power tool and yard equipment batteries. I also use it to power my water heater circulation pump. I have a solar hot water tank.
I don't like how much the unit uses in standby mode. I accidently left it on one night and it used about 50% of the battery. Also if the unit is off, it will not connect to the internet. I would like to know the status without having to turn it on, but at least I know that it is off when I check this way.
I am satisfied with this battery. I know I will be buying a fixed panel soon to increase the input.
My needs were somewhat unique. The house had been set up originally for a diesel/propane generator with an external generac transfer switch. I am still trying to find an electrician to connect the double power hub to that transfer switch. They are either very busy or don't want to do it. But I will say individually as portable units they are convenient and easy to use. I'm anxious to see how it will work when it finally gets set up thru the switch.
